Charles Edser Davis’s family were basket makers in Thurlaston, and later carpenters in Dunchurch. Charles became a carpenter, married, and joined up for the First World War, being gassed and wounded. A collection of photographs and documents led to research into his ancestors, his military career and recuperation in hospital, and his descendant family in Nuneaton.
A5 stapled, 40 pages, many B&W and colour illustrations.
