About Hunt's Bookshop

Hunt's Bookshop is a traditional book store established 23 years ago by Kelvin Hunt and continues to be run by family members.

Hunt's is located at 9 High Street, Rugby: just a stone's throw away from the prestigious Rugby School, which has educated many authors and poets over the years. The most famous book related to the school and its way of life was Tom Brown's School Days, written by Thomas Hughes.

The bookshop houses new and pre-loved quality second hand books and maps.

You can browse through a vast range of titles for both children and adults. There are rare and collectable books dating back through the centuries. The ground floor has general titles along with classics, specialist sections such as transport from trains boats and planes, to a good selection of history and military books.

Art lovers will enjoy the beautiful art and design books, ranging from the masters to modern day.

There are many gems to be discovered amongst this treasure of a shop. The children's section has a seating area for little readers set amongst a castle with knights, wizards and dragons.

On the first floor, there is a large range of sheet music books and classical CD's to suit every musical instrument. A full selection of ABRSM examination board titles are also available. A quick order service is available, if your desired book is not in stock.
